    针对电磁超声换能器(EMAT)在纤维缠绕储氢气瓶在线监测中回波信噪比低、洛伦兹力机制失效等问题,提出了基于 编码压缩的贴附式电磁超声水平剪切(SH)导波检测方法,通过有限元建模分析了 Barker 编码序列位数和码元载波周期、chirp 信号脉宽和带宽、组合 Barker 码的组合方式对脉冲压缩信号的信噪比和分辨率的影响,并进行了实验验证,最后开展了纤维缠 绕储氢气瓶中长 20 mm、宽 0. 5 mm、深 2 mm 裂纹检测实验。 结果表明,采用金属贴膜方式能有效解决 EMAT 在非金属材料中 难以检测的难题;增加 Barker 码的序列位数和载波周期、增大 chirp 脉宽以及减小 chirp 带宽、增加组合 Barker 码的序列长度均 可以提高脉压信号信噪比;经优化设计后,相较于传统 Tone-burst 激励方式,脉冲压缩技术可以将缺陷波信噪比至少提高 20. 4 dB,在不同编码算法中,chirp 信号激励下的信噪比最高,达到了 23. 9 dB,采用 3×13 位组合 Barker 码时,脉压信号的主瓣 宽度为 28. 8 μs,分辨率最高,但信噪比较低。

    Abstract:

    To address the problems of low echo signal-to-noise ratio ( SNR) and Lorentz force failure in the online monitoring of fiberwrapped gas cylinder by electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT), an attached EMAT shear horizontal (SH) guided wave detection method based on coding compression is proposed. Through finite element modeling, the effects of Barker code sequence bits and subpulse carrier period, chirp signal pulse width and band width, combined Barker code combination on pulse compression signal SNR and resolution are analyzed and evaluated experimentally. Finally, the 20 mm×0. 5 mm×2 mm crack defect of the fiber-wrapped gas cylinder is detected. The results show that the metal attached method can effectively solve the problem of EMAT failure in non-metallic materials. Increasing the sequence bit and carrier period of Barker code, increasing the chirp pulse width, decreasing the chirp band width, and increasing the sequence length of combined Barker code can improve the SNR of pulse compression signals. After optimization design, compared with the traditional Tone-burst excitation method, the SNR of defect echo can be improved by at least 20. 4 dB by pulse compression technology. Among different coding algorithms, chirp signal excitation has the highest SNR, reaching 23. 9 dB. When 3 × 13-bit combination Barker code is adopted, the main lobe width of pulse compression signal is 28. 8 μs. The resolution is highest, but the SNR is low.
